Demountable lattice-girder wooden wall element - with cutouts for wedges in end faces of connecting-batten-carrying panels
Abstract
Abstract The wall element is made up from interconnectable lattice girders (1) which can be cladded with panels after assembly, the rectangular girders being pref. wooden sections with side undercut grooves joined together by panel-shaped pieces with end edges at right angles to each other, carrying connecting battens to fit the grooves (5). The end faces (3a, 3b) of the panel-shaped pieces (4) which carry the connecting battens (6) are fitted with cutouts for the accommodation of wedges (21), pref. made of wood, which can be driven into them. There may be connecting pieces (7) with a connecting batten at one end engaging a girder's groove, and an undercut groove at the opposite end engaging the batten on the panel-shaped piece, and with wedge-holding cutouts at both ends. The lattice girder frame is more securely held, but can be easily dismantled.
