Abstract
Abstract Spinning oil for multi-filament yarns contains (I) at least one cpd. with a polyether chain consisting of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene units with a mol. wt. of 1000-15,000 in a conc. of 1-50 esp. 1-10 wt. % and (II) a wax and/or silicone oil in a concn. of 5-35 wt. % based on the total wt. of active components. Gives yarns with a good resistance to breakage during weaving, in both the wet and dry states. Can be easily woven to fabrics with a smooth surface.
