Abstract
Abstract One screw press is horizontal, the other at an angle above it, both feeding a common head. The head has three parts, a fixed central one and two outer hinged parts. The latter are held together during extrusion by a clamping system connected to hydraulic cylinders. When the clamps are released, the head is readily accessible for cleaning.
