Ziel der Erfindung ist es, zur Erhoehung der Elektrodenstandzeit d. Zweistoff-System einer Verbundelektrode so zu gestalten, dass die Elektrodenspitze austauschbar ist und der Verschleiss lediglich an dieser Spitze auftritt. Die technische Aufgabe besteht darin, den Verbund des Elektrodenschaftes mit d. Elektrodenspitze wiederholt trennbar auszubilden und der Trennstelle selbst eine den Austauschzyklen angepasste Lebensdauer zu verleihen. Die Loesung der Aufgabe ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die austauschbare Elektrodenspitze als Gewindekappe auf den Elektrodenschaft aufgeschraubt ist und diese Verbundelektrode durch ein konzentrisches Innenrohr fluessigkeitsgekuehlt ist. Vorteilhaft ist die unkomplizierte Gestaltung der Trennstelle als Gewindepaarung, die lediglich eine hochbelastbare handelsuebliche Dichtung erfordert.
