Abstract Translated from German Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Nagelkopf-Drahtbonden, insbesondere von Aluminium-Bonddraehten in der Halbleiterindustrie. Das Ziel der Erfindung ist die Weiterentwicklung des Nagelkopf-Drahtbondens. Die Erfindung loest de Aufgabe, das Nagelkopf-Drahtbonden auch fuer andere Bonddrahtmaterialien als Gold zuverlaessig einzusetzen. Erfindungsgemaesz wird die Aufgabe dadurch geloest, dasz die Zange relativ zur Kapillare um etwas den Abstand zwischen dem Ende der Kapillare und der am Draht angeschmolzenen kugelartigen Verdickung nach oben bewegbar und an der Kapillare ein Ultraschallschwinger angeschlossen ist sowie gegebenfalls weitere Mittel zur Drahtfuehrung zwischen Kapillare und Gegenelektrode schwenkbar angeordnet sind.
