Pneumatic cylinder with non-contact limit switch
Abstract
Abstract The pneumatic cylinder (10) has a non-contact limit switch (26) on its outside. Furthermore, a magnet part (22) actuating the limit switch (26) is fastened to the circumferential surface (16) of a piston (12) displaceable in the cylinder (10) and is embedded at least partly in a sealing collar (18) surrounding the circumferential surface (16). The magnet part (22) can be partly let into the piston (12). It can also be designed as a one-piece or two-piece annular magnet and be let into a groove (20) of the piston (12). In this pneumatic cylinder, the overall length is not changed by the attachment of the magnet part (22). <IMAGE>
