Process for the preparation of thieno-triazolo-diazepine derivatives
Abstract
Abstract Thieno-triazolo-diazepine derivatives of the general formula <IMAGE> in which R1 is hydrogen, halogen, nitro, alkyl, alkanoyl or amino, R2 is phenyl, o-trifluoromethylphenyl, o-halophenyl, o,o'-dihalophenyl, o-nitrophenyl, or pyridyl or thienyl which is optionally substituted beside the point of linkage, R4 is the group -alkyl-Z, Z is the group <IMAGE> R5 and R6 are each, independently of one another, hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or, together with the nitrogen atom, a monocyclic saturated 5-6-membered heterocycle with a maximum of one other nitrogen or oxygen atom, as well as their acid addition salts have anticonvulsant, sedative, muscle-relaxant, tranquillising and anxiolytic properties. They can be prepared by amination of a corresponding alkyl-substituted compound which has a leaving group or, in some cases, also by N-alkylation.
