Multielement solar energy fluid heater
Abstract
Abstract Solar energy heater for heating a fluid, comprises a metallic case containing several element. At the front a transparent sheet is supported on a wooden frame thus enclosing a space in which the "greenhouse" effect occurs. Behind the space is a black cellular absorption surface, the back face of which is fixed to a reservoir. The reservoir is provided with an inlet and outlet and the fluid which passes through it carries with it the heat that has been collected. Behind this reservoir is a second sealed reservoir which stores-heat. This is backed by a polished metallic sheet. The system gives a maximum yield of captured solar energy. It also provides heat storage for use at times when there is no sun.
