Indicator board with removable symbol or character elements - has latter sliding along fixed rail

Abstract

Abstract The indicator board is formed by a rail (1) which is secured to a support surface, e.g. by screws (4) and a number of symbol or character elements (2) which slide along the rail (1). The rear of each of the elements (2) has a channel for locating it on the rail (1), with the sidewalls of the channel sloping inwards, to locate behind the rear edges of the rail, which are similarly inclined. One side edge of each element (2) may have a projecting tongue, the other edge having a corresponding slot, so that a number of the element (2) can be fitted together after sliding them onto the rail (1). End elements (3) with screw holes for fixing them in position may be placed on the rail (1) to retain the assembled elements (2).
