Abstract
Abstract A baseplate (10) carries a motor (11) rotating a grinding wheel (12) past the edge of which the flat strip blade (30) is fed. The feed mechanism includes a second motor (21) rotating at 20 r.p.m., driving an eccentric disc (26) and operating a crank arm (23) to reciprocate a slider (35) to which the blade is clamped. A spring (32) holds the blade against the grinding wheel. The stroke of the slider can be adjusted.
