MIXED DIFFERENTIAL AND SHORT-CIRCUIT TRIGGER EQUIPPED WITH A COMMON HOMOPOLAR CURRENT CURRENT TRANSFORMER
Abstract
Inside the toroid (36) of a differential transformer (34) is arranged a magnetic shunt (38) interposed between the active conductors (14,16) of the alternating network, and constituting a leakage circuit whose magnetic reluctance determines the short-circuit trip threshold. The V or L-shaped shunt (38) is separated from the torus (36) by two air gaps (e1, e2). A trip relay (10) is controlled by the secondary winding (32) of the transformer. Application: two-pole and four-pole differential switches or circuit breakers.
