Sensor strip
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a sensor strip 1 which is attached to movable components provided with a drive and is intended to switch off the drive of the component and consequently stop the movement of the component as soon as the latter butts against an obstacle. Such sensor strips are attached, for example, to the closing edges of doors and are often integrated into the seal of these edges. The invention provides, within the sensor strip designed as a hollow body, a light barrier, the beam path 7 of which is covered and therefore interrupted when the sensor strip is deformed as a result of butting against an obstacle, with the result that the drive is switched off. Webs 11 arranged inside the sensor strip and made of flexible material, with blind orifices 10, bring about a reliable interruption of the beam path 7. <IMAGE>
