Abstract
Abstract The invention concerns a cervical biopsy punch (10), with a hollow cylindrical morcellator tube (12) having, at its open distal end, a cutting zone produced by grinding the tube circumference to give an undulating cutting edge (18). The morcellator tube, which represents the main body of the cutter, holds a guide rod (24) along which the morcellator tube can execute a longitudinal and/or rotational motion driven directly or indirectly by a drive cylinder.
