Abstract
Abstract In order to reduce the risk that a bone screw (1), in particular one made of a resorbing synthetic material, with an externally threaded (3) shaft (2) is destroyed by high tightening torques, an insertion channel (5) with a top opening, arranged concentrically to the shaft and extending along most of its length, is provided in the shaft for an insertion tool (7), the section of the insertion channel being non-circular and corresponding to that of the tightening tool (7).
