Abstract TEXTILE MATERIALS ARE TEXTURIZED, VOLUMINIZED OR BULKED BY CONTACTING SAME WITH A RELATIVELY LOW BOILING LIQUID, SUCH AS WATER OR ALCOHOL, AND THEN WITH A HOT RELATIVELY HIGH BOILING LIQUID. THE RESULTING FLASHING OF THE RELATIVELY LOW BOILING LIQUID INTO VAPOR SEPARATES, ENTANGLES, INTERMINGLES AND INTERWINES THE FILAMENTS OF THE TEXTILE MATERIAL.
