Abstract A BRIDGE CIRCUIT FOR USE IN SERVO SYSTEMS, PROVIDES A CURRENT FLOW WHICH IS A LINEAR FUNCTION OF THE INVERSE OF A RESISTANCE CONNECTED IN ONE OF THE BRIDGE ARMS. A SOURCE OF REFERENCE VOLTAGE IS CONNECTED IN ONE OF THE BRIDGE ARMS AND MEANS ARE PROVIDED TO MAINTAIN THE BRIDGE IN A NULL CONDITION AND TO CONTROL THE CURRENT IN THE BRIDGE CIRCUIT TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED INVERSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CURRENT AND RESISTNACE.
