Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 14
Claim 1
Independent Claim 82 words
A paving material for footways, comprising an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein the upper layer is made of rubber chips (A 1 ) and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ), and the lower layer is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic (B), said fiber-reinforced plastic (B) in the lower layer being made of a cured article of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ).
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 82 words
A paving material for footways, comprising an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein the upper layer is made of rubber chips (A 1 ) and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ), and the lower layer is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic (B), said fiber-reinforced plastic (B) in the lower layer being made of a cured article of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ).
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 50 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the upper layer and the lower layer each have voids and a total volume of voids in the upper layer and the lower layer accounts for 5 to 40% of an entire volume of the paving material for footways.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 54 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the fiber-reinforced plastic (B) in the lower layer is made of a cured article of 80 to 95% by weight of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic and 5 to 20% by weight of a thermosetting resin (B 2 ).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 21 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the upper layer further comprises hard granules (A 3 ).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 48 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 4 , wherein a mixing ratio of the rubber chips (A 1 ) in the upper layer to the hard granules (A 3 ), (A 1 ):(A 3 ), is within a range of from 70:30 to 95:5 by weight.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 29 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the crushed fragments (B 1 ) of the fiber-reinforced plastic are crushed fragments of a waste fiber-reinforced plastic.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 22 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the synthetic resin (A 2 ) is a curable urethane resin.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 22 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein the thermosetting resin (B 2 ) is an unsaturated polyester resin.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 47 words
A paving material for footways according to claim 1 , wherein a ratio of a thickness of the upper layer to a thickness of the lower layer, (the thickness of the upper layer):(the thickness of the lower layer), is within a range of from 5:95 to 50:50.
Claim 11
Independent Claim 93 words
A method of producing a paving material for footways, comprising a first step of charging a mixture of rubber chips (A 1 ) for forming an upper layer and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ) into a mold; a second step of charging a mixture of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic, for forming a lower layer, and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ) into the mold; and a third step of pressing the mold under heating, thereby integrally molding the mixtures.
Claim 12
Independent Claim 93 words
A method of producing a paving material for footways, comprising a first step of charging a mixture of rubber chips (A 1 ) for forming an upper layer and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ) into a mold; a second step of charging a mixture of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic, for forming a lower layer, and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ) into the mold; and a third step of pressing the mold under heating, thereby integrally molding the mixtures.
Claim 13
Independent Claim 89 words
A method of producing a paving material for footways, comprising a first step of laying a mixture of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic, for forming a lower layer, and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ) on a base to be paved; a second step of laying a mixture of rubber chips (A 1 ) for forming an upper layer, and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ) thereon; and a third step of integrating and curing the mixtures.
Claim 14
Independent Claim 89 words
A method of producing a paving material for footways, comprising a first step of laying a mixture of crushed fragments (B 1 ) of a fiber-reinforced plastic, for forming a lower layer, and a thermosetting resin (B 2 ) on a base to be paved; a second step of laying a mixture of rubber chips (A 1 ) for forming an upper layer, and a synthetic resin (A 2 ) for binding the rubber chips (A 1 ) thereon; and a third step of integrating and curing the mixtures.
