Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 86 words
A diesel fuel for powering vehicular diesel engines comprising a blend of aromatic and aliphatic mineral spirits having a low sulfur content in the range of 1-10 ppm, a flash point above 125° F., an autoignition temperature in the range of about 450° F. to 500° F., will remain fluid at cold temperatures down to −40° F. and has a 90% distillation range at about 345° F. to 450° F. producing efficient fuel vaporization and facilitating starting of vehicular diesel engines even in especially cold climates.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 86 words
A diesel fuel for powering vehicular diesel engines comprising a blend of aromatic and aliphatic mineral spirits having a low sulfur content in the range of 1-10 ppm, a flash point above 125° F., an autoignition temperature in the range of about 450° F. to 500° F., will remain fluid at cold temperatures down to −40° F. and has a 90% distillation range at about 345° F. to 450° F. producing efficient fuel vaporization and facilitating starting of vehicular diesel engines even in especially cold climates.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 62 words
The diesel fuel of claim 1 wherein the diesel fuel has the following characteristics: Range Cetane Number 40 to 60 Flash Point (Tag Closed Cup) 125 to 155 F. Sulfur Content 1 to 10 ppm Auto Ignition Temp. F. 450 to 500 F. Distillation Range F. IBP 345 to 375 90% Rec. 370 to 450 Gel or Freeze Point Below −40 F.

Claim 5
Independent Claim 33 words
The method of operating a diesel engine for powering a vehicle, comprising the step of supplying mineral spirits to said engine, thereby substantially reducing the amount of pollutants being exhausted from said engine.
Claim 6
Independent Claim 33 words
The method of operating a diesel engine for powering a vehicle, comprising the step of supplying mineral spirits to said engine, thereby substantially reducing the amount of pollutants being exhausted from said engine.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 17 words
The method of claim 4 , whereby a blend of mineral spirits is supplied to said engine.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
The method of claim 5 , further comprising 0% to 35% of aromatics and 65% to 100% of aliphatics by volume.
