Abstract
Abstract A mirror is provided with, from the incident side, a dichroic surface, a quarter-wave plate, and a reflecting surface. The dichroic surface transmits a light component covering a specific wavelength range and reflects light components covering other wavelength ranges. The quarter-wave plate is for rotating a polarization the specific wavelength range covered by the light component transmitted through the dichroic surface. The reflecting surface reflects the light component having passed through the quarter-wave plate to direct it back to the quarter-wave plate.
