Abstract

Abstract Refrigerant transporting hose comprising an inner tube formed of a rubber composition based on an isobutylene.p-methylstyrene copolymer in which part or all of the p-methylstyrene units are brominated, and an outer tube around the inner tube with a reinforcing layer interposed, is improved not only in softness and resistance to the permeation of refrigerants but also in vibration and sound absorbing characteristics.
