Abstract
Abstract A method and apparatus for inhibiting restenosis of arteries utilizing Bremstralung created radiation. A preferred apparatus includes an elongate shaft having a heavy-metal envelope disposed on the distal end. The apparatus can include a second elongate shaft slidably disposed parallel to the first shaft for increasing the outer diameter of the envelope by proximally pulling the envelope distal end relative to the envelope proximal end.
