Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 16
Claim 1
Independent Claim 59 words
A method for enhancing the effect of a viral therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro on the viral target of said agent, comprising the step of: tethering a localization signal to said therapeutic agent wherein said localization signal causes said therapeutic agent to be localized with said viral target in a cellular or viral compartment of said cell.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 59 words
A method for enhancing the effect of a viral therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro on the viral target of said agent, comprising the step of: tethering a localization signal to said therapeutic agent wherein said localization signal causes said therapeutic agent to be localized with said viral target in a cellular or viral compartment of said cell.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 24 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said agent is selected from the group consisting of an antisense oligonucleotide, a decoy oligonucleotide, and a ribozyme.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 19 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said localization signal is selected from the group consisting of viral packaging signals.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said localization signal comprises a nucleic acid component.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 13 words
The method of claim 1, wherein said localization signal comprises a protein component.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 35 words
A viral therapeutic agent comprising at least one localization signal able to localize said agent in the same cellular or viral compartment with a viral target of said therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 35 words
A viral therapeutic agent comprising at least one localization signal able to localize said agent in the same cellular or viral compartment with a viral target of said therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 25 words
The therapeutic agent of claim 6, wherein said agent is selected from the group consisting of an antisense oligonucleotide, a decoy oligonucleotide and a ribozyme.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 20 words
The therapeutic agent of claim 6, wherein said localization signal is selected from the group consisting of viral packaging signals.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 36 words
A therapeutic agent comprising a localization signal, wherein said localization signal is capable of localizing said therapeutic agent in the same cellular compartment as the target molecule of said therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 36 words
A therapeutic agent comprising a localization signal, wherein said localization signal is capable of localizing said therapeutic agent in the same cellular compartment as the target molecule of said therapeutic agent in a cell in vitro.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 20 words
The therapeutic agent of any one of claims 6 or 9, wherein said localization signal comprises a nucleic acid component.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 19 words
The therapeutic agent of any one of claims 6 or 9, wherein said localization signal comprises a protein component.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 30 words
An expression vector including nucleic acid encoding the therapeutic agent of claims 6 or 9 in a manner which allows expression of said therapeutic agent within a cell in vitro.
Claim 16
Dependent Claim 13 words
The vector of claim 12, wherein said vector is derived from a retrovirus.
