Output apparatus with size change of character patterns only

Claim 2

An output apparatus comprising: input means for inputting document data including at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and output means for outputting, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and for outputting, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said output means comprises a printer.

An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said output means comprises a display.

Claim 5

An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein said output means outputs a character pattern corresponding to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command.

Claim 6

An output apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, when said input means inputs the mesh command and then the character code, said output means outputs a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when said input means inputs the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code, said output means outputs a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

Claim 7

An output control apparatus comprising: input means for inputting document data including at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and pattern forming means for forming, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the mesh code and the character code, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and for forming, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

Claim 8

An output control apparatus comprising: input means for inputting document data including at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and pattern forming means for forming, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the mesh code and the character code, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and for forming, in response to said input means inputting the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

Claim 9

An apparatus according to claim 6, further comprising output means for outputting the character pattern and the mesh pattern formed by said pattern forming means.

An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said output means comprises a printer.

An apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said output means comprises a display.

An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein said pattern forming means forms a character pattern corresponding to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command in an area and forms the mesh pattern in the area.

An output control apparatus according to claim 6, wherein, when the mesh code and then the character code are input by said input means, said pattern forming means forms a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code are input by said inputting step, said pattern forming means forms a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A method according to claim 12, wherein said outputting step comprises a printer.

A method according to claim 12, wherein said outputting step comprises a display.

A method according to claim 12, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein said outputting step outputs a character pattern corresponding to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command.

A method according to claim 12, wherein, when the mesh command and then the character code are input in said inputting step, then in said outputting step is output a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code are input in said inputting step, then in said outputting step is output a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A method according to claim 17, further comprising an outputting step for outputting the character pattern and the mesh pattern formed in said pattern forming step.

A method according to claim 18, wherein said outputting step comprises a printer.

A method according to claim 18, wherein said outputting step comprises a display.

A method according to claim 17, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein said pattern forming step forms a character pattern corresponding to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command in an area and forms the mesh pattern in the area.

A method according to claim 17, wherein, when the mesh code and then the character code are input in said inputting step, a character pattern is formed in said forming step corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code are input in said inputting step, a character pattern is formed in said forming step corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A computer-usable medium storing computer-usable instructions for causing a program controlled output apparatus to perform a method comprising the steps of: causing the apparatus to input document data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and causing the apparatus to output, in response to the document data including the mesh command and the character code being input, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and for causing the apparatus to output, in response to the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A computer-usable medium storing computer-usable instructions for causing a program controlled output apparatus to perform a method comprising the steps of: causing the apparatus to input document data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and causing the apparatus to output, in response to the document data including the mesh command and the character code being input, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and for causing the apparatus to output, in response to the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 23, wherein said instructions for causing the apparatus to output comprise communication with a printer.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 23, wherein said instructions for causing the apparatus to output comprise communication with a display.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 23, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein a character pattern corresponds to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command with a mesh pattern based on the mesh command.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 23, wherein when the mesh command and then the character code are input by said instructions for causing input, said instructions for causing output cause the apparatus to output a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code are input by said instructions for causing input, said instructions for causing output cause the apparatus to output a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A computer-usable medium storing computer-usable instructions for causing a program controlled output apparatus to output a synthesized pattern, the instructions comprising instructions for: causing the apparatus to input document data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and causing the apparatus to form a pattern by forming, in response to the document data including the mesh code and the character code being input, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and forming, in response to the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

Claim 34

A computer-usable medium storing computer-usable instructions for causing a program controlled output apparatus to output a synthesized pattern, the instructions comprising instructions for: causing the apparatus to input document data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a mesh command and a character code; and causing the apparatus to form a pattern by forming, in response to the document data including the mesh code and the character code being input, a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, and forming, in response to the document data including the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and the character code, a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the mesh command and being provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 28, further comprising instructions for causing the apparatus to output the character pattern and the mesh pattern formed by said pattern forming instructions.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 29, wherein said instructions for causing the apparatus to output comprise communication with a printer.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 29, wherein said instructions for causing the apparatus to output comprise communication with a display.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 28, wherein the mesh command includes a meshing start command and a meshing end command and wherein said instructions for causing the apparatus to form a character pattern corresponding to an input character code placed between the meshing start command and the meshing end command in an area and to form the mesh pattern in the area.

A computer-usable medium according to claim 28, wherein when the mesh code and then the character code are input by said instructions for causing input, said instructions for causing forming cause the apparatus to form a character pattern corresponding to the input character code with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, and when the enlargement or reduction command, the mesh command and then the character code are input by said instructions for causing input, said instructions for causing forming cause the apparatus to form a character pattern, corresponding to the input character code, enlarged or reduced based on the input enlargement or reduction command with a mesh pattern corresponding to the input mesh command which is provided in an area of the character pattern, wherein the mesh pattern is not enlarged or reduced.

Claim 40

A printing method comprising the steps of: receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and printing a character pattern corresponding to the received character code and enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command with a modification pattern corresponding to the received modification command, if said receiving step receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command.

A printing method comprising the steps of: receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and printing a character pattern corresponding to the received character code and enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command with a modification pattern corresponding to the received modification command, if said receiving step receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command.

A method according to claim 34, wherein the modification pattern comprises a mesh pattern.

A printing apparatus comprising: reception means for receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and print means for printing a character pattern corresponding to the character code received by said reception means and enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command received by said reception means with a modification pattern corresponding to the modification command received by said reception means, if said reception means receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command.

Claim 44

A printing apparatus comprising: reception means for receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and print means for printing a character pattern corresponding to the character code received by said reception means and enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command received by said reception means with a modification pattern corresponding to the modification command received by said reception means, if said reception means receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command.

An apparatus according to claim 36, wherein the modification pattern comprises a mesh pattern.

A computer readable medium having recorded thereupon a computer implementable method for printing comprising the steps of: receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and printing a character pattern corresponding to the received character code and enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command with a modification pattern corresponding to the received modification command, if said receiving step receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command.

A computer readable medium having recorded thereupon a computer implementable method for printing comprising the steps of: receiving print data including, at least one of an enlargement or reduction command, a modification command and a character code from an external data source; and printing a character pattern corresponding to the received character code and enlarged or reduced in response to the received enlargement or reduction command with a modification pattern corresponding to the received modification command, if said receiving step receives the enlargement or reduction command, the modification command and then the character code, wherein the modification pattern is not enlarged or reduced in response to the enlargement or reduction command.

A computer-useable medium according to claim 38, wherein the modification pattern comprises a mesh pattern.
