Abstract
Abstract Image data processing apparatus transmitting data in according with a reception rate includes a receiver for receiving information data transmitted from at least one external terminal, and calculating circuitry for calculating a reception rate of the information data received by the receiver. The reception rate is calculated continuously or at every predetermined transmission time interval. A transmitter then transmits the calculated rate data. Preferably, in a video conferencing system, data is transmitted and received at an appropriated rate.
