Abstract

Abstract A method and system for handling a highly scalable, X.500 directory solution is described. Management of information within the X.500 directory is divided among separate delegate directory service agent processes running on a single server. The server may have multiple processors implementing the separate delegate directory service agent processes. A user interface for managing such a system is also described.
