Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 77 words
A method of repairing a damaged or diseased portion of a urinary bladder by promoting the growth of endogenous urinary bladder tissues having a urine impermeable layer and a functional muscle layer which comprises a) surgically removing the damaged or diseased portion of the urinary bladder and b) replacing the removed portion of the bladder with a tissue graft construct comprising intestinal submucosa delaminated from both the tunica muscularis and the luminal portion of the tunica mucosa.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 77 words
A method of repairing a damaged or diseased portion of a urinary bladder by promoting the growth of endogenous urinary bladder tissues having a urine impermeable layer and a functional muscle layer which comprises a) surgically removing the damaged or diseased portion of the urinary bladder and b) replacing the removed portion of the bladder with a tissue graft construct comprising intestinal submucosa delaminated from both the tunica muscularis and the luminal portion of the tunica mucosa.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 20 words
The method of claim 1, wherein the tissue graft construct is formed from two or more strips of intestinal tissue.
Claim 4
Independent Claim 76 words
A method of repairing a damaged or diseased portion of a urinary tract by promoting the growth of endogenous urothelial tissues having a urine impermeable layer and a functional muscle layer which comprises a) surgically removing the damaged or diseased portion of the urinary tract and b) replacing the removed portion of the tract with a tissue graft construct comprising intestinal submucosa delaminated from both the tunica muscularis and the luminal portion of the tunica mucosa.
