Claim 2
Independent Claim 48 words
A method of inhibiting the proliferation of a protozoal parasite comprising contacting the protozoal parasite with an amount of taxol or taxol analog effective to inhibit the proliferation of said parasite wherein said parasite is selected from the group consisting of Babesia, Pneumocystis, Cryptosporidium, Sarcocystis, Isospora, and Toxoplasma.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 23 words
The method of claim 1 wherein the parasite is contacted with from about 0.1 μM to about 1 μM taxol or taxol analog.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method of claim 1 wherein the period of contact is from about 8 to about 48 hours.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 11 words
The method of claim 1 wherein said taxol analog is taxotere.
Claim 6
Independent Claim 33 words
A method of inhibiting the asexual reproduction of a Sporozoa protozoal parasite comprising contacting the protozoal parasite with an amount of taxol or taxol analog effective to inhibit the reproduction of said parasite.
Claim 7
Independent Claim 33 words
A method of inhibiting the asexual reproduction of a Sporozoa protozoal parasite comprising contacting the protozoal parasite with an amount of taxol or taxol analog effective to inhibit the reproduction of said parasite.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 24 words
