Abstract

Abstract Supporting elements (SE1-SEn) are provided between chamber elements (KE1-KEn) of an optical cable (OC1), which are disposed annularly in at least one layer. These supporting elements extend substantially in a radial direction, in which case their radial extent is selected to be at least equal to the radial extent of the chamber elements (KE1-KEn).
