Abstract

Abstract A camera input and display device and method generates displays on a dot matrix display device having a plurality of display blocks which display a plurality of display-screens. The display-screens correspond to either a first display or a second display. An input device inputs data in accordance with each display-screen. A control unit is coupled to the display device and the input device. The control unit sets a specified timer value for each display-screen. The control unit stops receiving data from the input device when a timer generates a time-out signal based on the specified timer value. The specified timer value is set for a longer time for the first display than for the second display.
