Abstract
Abstract Channel switching control in a mobile telecommunication system of a multiple zone configuration provided with base stations of zones for engaging in radio communication with mobile stations and base station control equipment for controlling the base stations, wherein the base station control equipment performs priority processing on a request for channel switching due to deterioration of quality, in which there is little margin of time until the quality of service deteriorates below a predetermined level, when receiving a request for channel switching to a stronger field transferred from a mobile station through a base station and a request for channel switching due to deterioration of quality from a base station, thereby enabling channel switching able to ensure a predetermined quality of service.
