Abstract
Abstract The present invention provides for enhanced bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soils and waters by treating soil or water with a composition comprising a phosphorous source, a diluent and a compound or mixtures thereof represented by the structural formula: <IMAGE> wherein R is a linear or branched alkane having about 8 to about 22 carbons, a linear or branched alkene having about 4 to about 22 carbon atoms; T1, T2, T3 are independently ethylene, trimethylene, or CH2CH2(NHCH2CH2)x, where x is an integer from 1 to 10; Q is HNO3 or H3PO4; and, n is an integer from 0 to 10.
