Abstract

Abstract A tennis racket has a racket head and a handle shaft extending from the racket head. The handle shaft has a substantially uniform handle portion including a first width dimension and a substantially uniform first depth dimension. The tennis racket can incorporate an improved tennis racket handle kit. The kit includes a first structure for forming an enlarged handle portion of the handle shaft having a substantially uniform second width dimension that is larger than the first width dimension and a substantially uniform second depth dimension that is substantially equal to the first depth dimension. The kit further includes a second structure for forming a handle transition portion of the handle shaft between the first and second handle portions providing a transition between the first and second width dimensions. A handle cover is used to provide a hand grip.
