Abstract
Abstract Liquid refrigerant is injected into the motor of a motor-compressor to cool the motor. Refrigerant is also injected to control the discharge temperature of the compressor. The refrigerant for controlling the discharge temperature may be either excess refrigerant for cooling the motor or refrigerant injected into the compressor under the control of a thermal expansion valve.
