An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 17 wherein said graded refractive index lens component disposed in said rear lens unit satisfies the following condition (17): 0.2≦|Φ.sub.e /Φ.sub.e |≦3.6(17) wherein the reference symbol Φ e represents a refractive power of said graded refractive index lens component disposed in said rear lens unit and the reference symbol Φ R designates a refractive power of said rear lens unit.
Claim 23
Dependent Claim 50 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 17 wherein said graded refractive index lens component satisfies the following condition (22): N.sub.3 /N.sub.0.sbsb.d ≧1.1 (22) wherein the reference symbol N e represents an equivalent refractive index of said graded refractive index lens component disposed in said rear lens unit.
Claim 24
Dependent Claim 33 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 18 wherein said rear lens unit consists, in order from the object side, of a graded refractive index lens component and a positive subunit.
Claim 25
Dependent Claim 57 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 20 wherein said graded refractive index lens component disposed in said rear lens unit satisfies the following condition (16): 0.01≦|Φ.sub.M /Φ.sub.e |≦3.0(16) wherein the reference symbol Φ M represents a refractive power of a medium of said graded refractive index lens component disposed in said rear lens unit.
Claim 26
Dependent Claim 41 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 18 wherein said rear lens unit includes a graded refractive index lens component satisfying the conditions (6) and (7), and another graded refractive index lens component satisfying the conditions (7) and (15).
Claim 27
Dependent Claim 50 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 22 wherein said graded refractive index lens component which satisfies the condition (15) further satisfies the following condition (16); ν.sub.e /ν.sub.0.sbsb.d ≦0.8 (16) wherein the reference symbol ν e represents an equivalent Abbe's number of said graded refractive index lens component.
Claim 28
Dependent Claim 31 words
An objective lens system for endoscopes according to claim 17 wherein said front lens unit comprises, in order from the object side, a positive lens component and a negative lens component.
