Abstract
Abstract An electrical shielding jacket has a shield formed from a wire mesh strip. The cut ends of the strip are folded back onto the strip body and resistance welded in place. The jacket has a flexible casing which is closable by means of a zipper. A strip of hook and loop fastener is secured around the end of the jacket casing and is engagable to reinforce the zipper.
