Abstract
Abstract An article of clothing for protection against liquids and/or micro-organisms. The article includes a portion or portions each of which includes at least three layers, an inner, outer and intermediate layer, for example. The outer layer is formed of a tightly woven hydrophobic fabric which forms a liquid barrier and a micro-organism barrier. The inner layer also is formed of a material which likewise forms a liquid barrier and a micro-organism barrier and also is preferably hydrophobic. The intermediate layer separates the outer layer and the inner layer in a region of a portion of the article and prevents direct contact between the inner and outer layers in that region.
