Abstract
Abstract A video signal processing apparatus capable of improving a signal to noise ratio of a video signal by providing for a first luminance/chrominance separation circuit for still pictures and a second luminance/chrominance separation circuit for moving pictures. Color disturbances on the screen can be avoided by switching between a parallel configuration and a serial configuration of the first and second separation circuits without generating differences in signal delay times.
