Abstract
Abstract A means of varying both the opening and closing angle of internal combustion engine cam-operated valves by means of a mechanism which responds to the torque applied to the camshaft by the valve springs in such a way that the opening angle of the valves is retarded and the closing angle advanced and in which a means of inhibiting this operation can be incorporated.
