Abstract
Abstract An image processing apparatus suitable for use in a laser beam printer includes an input circuit for inputting image data, and a processing circuit for processing the image data input via the input circuit. The processing circuit includes a converter for converting resolution of the image data, and for outputting converted image data. The processing circuit further includes a pulse-width-modulated signal generating circuit for generating a pulse-width-modulated signal in accordance with a pattern of the image data.
