Abstract

Abstract A tool driver which has a body having a bore. The bore has a longitudinal axis. A plunger is disposed in the bore. The body and the plunger have a lock. An actuator is disposed on the body. The actuator and the plunger are loosely coupled. The actuator is axially movable relative to the body and the plunger between a locked position and a retracted position. The actuator, in the locked position, substantially immobilizes the plunger relative to the body. The actuator and the plunger are axially movable together, relative to the body, between the retracted position and an extended position.
