Abstract

Abstract A multiple layer packaging film is based on three layers and wherein polyethylene terephthalate is one of the layers. All three layers are oriented. The three layers may be used as a stand-alone film, or may be combined with other layers to achieve additional beneficial properties. Desirably, the polyethylene terephthalate may be metallized, then laminated to a reverse printed layer of oriented polypropylene or polyester.
