Abstract

Abstract A zoom lens system comprising, in the order from the object side, a first lens unit having a positive refractive power, a second lens unit having a weak refractive power (i.e., less than 0.01), a third lens unit having a positive refractive power and a fourth lens unit having a negative refractive power, and adapted so as to perform variation of focal length thereof by varying airspaces reserved between the lens units. This zoom lens system has a broad vari-focal range covering a super wide field angle.
