Abstract
Abstract The invention is ink pigment grinding resins for water-based printing inks which are produced by the esterification of fortified rosin with styrene-allyl alcohol copolymer and various polyols. The resulting rosin resin may be employed over a wide range of pH values to produce stable low viscosity grind bases.
