Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 71 words
A masking material for masking a photosensitive color element having three light-sensitive layers for developing cyan, magenta and yellow, respectively, said masking material comprising a layer containing a colorant and blocking transmission of light in those areas of the visible spectrum to which said photosensitive color element is sensitive, while transmitting light within the range of 560-660 nm with a transmission density sufficiently high to avoid fogging of the color element.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 71 words
A masking material for masking a photosensitive color element having three light-sensitive layers for developing cyan, magenta and yellow, respectively, said masking material comprising a layer containing a colorant and blocking transmission of light in those areas of the visible spectrum to which said photosensitive color element is sensitive, while transmitting light within the range of 560-660 nm with a transmission density sufficiently high to avoid fogging of the color element.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 17 words
The masking material of claim 1 wherein said colorant comprises an admixture of blue and orange dyes.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 14 words
The masking material of claim 2 wherein said admixture additionally comprises a yellow dye.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
The masking material of claim 2 having a transmission density of greater than 2.0.
