Abstract

Abstract An electrode for use primarily in electrocardiography is described. This electrode is comprised of porous polytetrafluoroethylene and an electrically conductive powder so as to be moisture vapor permeable. A preferred embodiment uses fibrillized porous polytetrafluoroethylene. It may have an adhesive on one surface for easy attachment to a patient.
