Abstract
Abstract A recording liquid, comprising a recording agent which is a component that forms a recorded image and a liquid medium in which said recording agent is dissolved or dispersed, wherein said recording agent comprises a dye represented by the Formula (A) ##STR1## wherein R 1 and R 2 are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, a methoxy group, a chloro group, a sulfonic acid group; X represents a residual group of an organic acid; and M represents a base selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal group, an ammonium group, and an organic amine group and at least one dye selected from the group consisting of C.I. Acid Red 131, C.I. Acid Red 274, C.I. Direct Red 227 and C.I. Direct Red 9.
