Abstract
Abstract An image forming device is provided with a memory area assignment system for assigning a font load area for storing font data and a bit map area for storing image data in the memory area with a predetermined capacity, and when a part of the memory area defined to be assigned for the bit map area is overlapped on a part of the font load area, it is judged whether or not the font data stored in the overlapped area is a secondary data which can be recovered by converting a primary data, and in case the font data is a secondary data, the overlapped area is assigned for the bit map area.
