Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim 60 words
In an electronic system having circuit modules which communicate through interconnects therebetween, with the operation of each circuit module requiring at least one clock signal, the improvement comprising: each circuit module includes means for combining externally applied, phase shifted drive signals of identical frequency to derive at least one clock signal therein having some frequency multiple of the drive signals.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 60 words
In an electronic system having circuit modules which communicate through interconnects therebetween, with the operation of each circuit module requiring at least one clock signal, the improvement comprising: each circuit module includes means for combining externally applied, phase shifted drive signals of identical frequency to derive at least one clock signal therein having some frequency multiple of the drive signals.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 24 words
The system of claim 1 wherein a clock signal for at least one module is derived at twice the frequency of the drive signals.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 29 words
The system of claim 2 wherein the clock signal is derived at the output of an exclusive OR gate having the drive signals applied individually to the inputs thereof.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 38 words
The system of claim 1 wherein the clock signals for at least one module are derived from the outputs of exclusive OR gates at twice the frequencies of drive signals which are applied individually to the inputs thereof.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 66 words
In an electronic system having a plurality of circuit modules which communicate through interconnects therebetween, with the operation of each such circuit module requiring at least one clock signal, the improvement comprising: at least one circuit module includes means for combining externally applied, phase shifted drive signals of identical frequency to derive at least one clock signal therein having some frequency multiple of the drive signals.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 66 words
In an electronic system having a plurality of circuit modules which communicate through interconnects therebetween, with the operation of each such circuit module requiring at least one clock signal, the improvement comprising: at least one circuit module includes means for combining externally applied, phase shifted drive signals of identical frequency to derive at least one clock signal therein having some frequency multiple of the drive signals.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 24 words
The system of claim 5 wherein a clock signal for at least one module is derived at twice the frequency of the drive signals.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 29 words
The system of claim 6 wherein the clock signal is derived at the output of an exclusive OR gate having the drive signals applied individually to the inputs thereof.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 38 words
The system of claim 5 wherein the clock signals for at least one module are derived from the outputs of exclusive OR gates at twice the frequencies of drive signals which are applied individually to the inputs thereof.
