Abstract
Abstract An oxide type solid lubricant is made up of a sintered composite ceramic mass of Cr2O3 and Na2ZrO3 and has a Cr2O3 content in the range of from 20 to 50% by weight.

A solid lubricant according to claim 1, wherein said sintered composite ceramic material is produced by mixing powders of Cr 2 O 3 and Na 2 ZrO 3 , molding the resultant mixed powder in a desired shape, and sintering the shaped mass.
