Abstract
Abstract A battery voltage detecting device has a circuit for separately detecting the time it takes for a capacitor to be charged to a second reference voltage, in response to the application of a battery voltage and a first reference voltage to the capacitor. A calculating circuit determines the battery voltage from the charging times of the capacitor and the values of the reference voltages.
